DIY Decor Ideas
We love a good Do-It-Yourself project. This post is to inspire your inner DIY spirit and get those creative juices flowing. The great thing about decor is that you can get really creative with it on a low budget. Who says you have to break the bank for some cute decor? Below are some ideas that we are currently craving.
Terrarium's are super adorable. You can make these as big or small as you want. Whether you are using real or artificial plants, they are very low maintenance.
What you need:

-glass bowl, jar, or bowl
-soil
-rocks (optional)

Dry erase boards are very convenient. Whether you need it as a to-do list or monthly calendar, there is always a great use for dry erase boards!
What you need:
-frame with glass panel
-your favorite printed paper
-dry erase marker
Place printer paper behind glass frame and your ready to start writing!
Garland can be so fun. You can hang it in your room, guestroom, child's room, or add it to your living room decor! There are so many varieties of garlands you can make. Choose one that would best suit you.
What you need:
-artificial flowers, or thin paper sheets to make your own flowers
-yarn
-sturdy string
-glue
Place your flowers on the string by attaching them with yarn or with glue. Hang on your wall and enjoy!
Pictures are great way to stroll down memory lane. Why not hang your favorite pictures and switch them out as often as you'd like? We love the simplicity of this idea.
What you need:
-large frame or any kind of border
-sturdy string
-printed pictures
-wooden laundry clips
Cut string to desired lengths. Clip pictures with laundry clips and place on string. Secure ends of strings with nail or tack. Hang up and enjoy!
