Top 3 Spring Salads 



With spring in full bloom, we wanted to put together our top 5 salads that we have been dying to try. Just the though of salad can be very boring, but these mixtures of tasty ingredients are sure to get your mouth watering! Give them a try for your self and let your creative chef side show! 







1) Chicken Quinoa Salad 
If you have yet to get on this quinoa craze, then this is the perfect salad for you. Quinoa is basically a seed that is prepared and eaten similar to a grain. It contains many important health nutrients like zinc, fiber, potassium, and more! Did we mention that it is incredibly tasty? 
What you need: 
- cooked chicken (shredded or cubed) 
-cubed tomatoes
-cut salad leaves of your choice
-1-2 cups of cooked quinoa 
-seasonings of your choice
Choose the portions of these ingredients for as much as your going to need. Mix all together and drizzle with your favorite dressing. Enjoy! 






2) Strawberry Asparagus Salad 
If you love strawberries as much as we do, then you understand why putting them in a salad gets us very excited! If your not a big of asparagus, then you can substitute with green beans, snow peas, or a different vegetable of your choice. 
What you need: 
-diced strawberries
-cooked, cut asparagus 
-nuts (optional)
-mixture of cut salad leaves of your choice 
-feta cheese for topping
-seasoning of your choice
Choose the portions of each of these ingredients for as much as you are going to need. Mix all together and season. Enjoy! 








3) Pasta Salad 
Mmm, pasta. Pasta is amazingly delicious, but not always the healthiest. Here is a way to get your pasta fix, without feeling too guilty in the carb department. It may just be the new way we eat pasta from now on! 
What you need: 
-cooked pasta 
-cut grapes
-cooked broccoli 
-chopped onion 
-nuts (optional) 
-seasoning of your choice 
Choose the portions of these ingredients for as much as your going to need. Mix all together, season, and drizzle some dressing of your choice. Enjoy!
