We have found our holy grail when it comes to cleaning our makeup brushes and beauty blender! This Burt's Bees Gel Cleanser works wonderfully! It washes out all dirt from brushes and hard to remove foundations from the beauty blender like a charm. The best thing about this cleanser is that it is 100% natural for your face. It has skin nourishing botanicals like Coconut and Argan oils that remove dirt and makeup without leaving any sticky residue or stripping away your skin's natural protective barriers.
We have been loving Vitamin E oil to remove our eye makeup. Vitamin E oil contains many antioxidant properties and helps fight the signs of aging, protect from sun damage, and even lowers skin cancer risks. We like using cotton balls, but you can use organic cotton pads too.
Have you ever put Coconut oil on your skin? It feels very thick and sticky. However, place about 3 tbsp to 1/2 cup of oil (depending on how big your lotion bottle is) into your lotion bottle. Shake it well, then apply! Coconut oil retains moisture content of the skin and helps protect from microbial infections that can enter the skin through cuts/scrapes. You will feel moisturized longer, therefore eliminating the need to re-apply lotion often.
Castor oil has natural antifungal properties and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids. It's high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it beneficial to skin & hair! Helping hair grow thicker and faster. Fill up an empty mascara tube with Castor Oil and place on lashes on your no-makeup days!
Have you ever gotten those horrible razor bumps after shaving? Next time you run into this problem, dab some natural Aloe Vera gel on the affected areas. Aloe Vera is a traditional remedy for soothing irritated skin, and great for relieving that burning feeling.
Give these a try and let us know what you think!
