Work it out!
Exercising is very important for your overall health. We believe that you do not need to have a gym membership to get your heart pumping and sweat rolling! Try these simple 5 exercises at the comfort of your own home when you have some spare time. Need a little boost of energy? Try at least 2 of these every morning for a great start to your day!
1) Stretching!
It's very important to stretch your muscles before any type of exercise. The picture above illustrates many different stretching positions for the whole body.
2) Jumping Jacks!
When was the last time you did some jumping jacks? The primary benefit of these is that it elevates your heart rate and promotes deeper breathing. You also burn fat at a rapid rate, thus promoting weight loss! Do 2 sets of 20 jumping jacks or more if you'd like.
3) Squats!
Squats improve circulation and help keep your knee, leg, and butt muscles in shape. You can increase the difficulty of this exercise by holding a small weight on each hand as you do them. Do 3 sets of 10 squats.
4) Abs: Heel Touch!
If your tired of doing the same old boring crunches, try this variation of it. Get into the same position as you would for a crunch. Instead of just lifting up your upper body for a crunch, reach for your heels like the picture above. Do 3 sets of 10 to get your ab muscles working!
5) Arm workout!
This last workout will tone your arms and get rid of any unattractive under-arm flab. You do not need to have weights for this. Simply grab two books, two candles, two jars, anything with a little bit of weight to them! Do 3 sets of 10.
