NYFW 2016 Runway Hair & Beauty Trends
At every fashion show, the model's makeup and hair does not go unnoticed. Most designers opt for a simple, barely there makeup look. While others choose pops of color, glitter, or black liner. We love seeing creativity in the hairstyles. These hairstyles can be eye catching, or very minimalist. Hair and makeup are very important aspects of the runways. It can bring the designers' complete vision to life.
We saw many different variations of the braid on the runways. This style might not tickle everyone's fancy, but it't nonetheless fun. Once these bad boys are taken out, watch out. Volume galore!
This was a way to prep the hair. Once these buns were taken out, the hair had a very pretty curl that was brushed out to create a nice wave. Hey, if you like these twisted buns, feel free to rock them. We think they're incredibly cute!
These faux dreadlocks look so incredibly cool. Did anyone ever go through a faze where they wanted dreadlocks so bad? We sure did. We are very glad now that we never went through with it, but this hairstyle would definitely scratch that itch. Rock this hairstyle at the beach and you'll fit right in.
This braided hairstyle looks a little tricky, but there's nothing YouTube can't teach us! Besides, what better way to play up a simple low pony, than a chic braid!
Makeup looks can be super fun on runway shows. This white eye shadow really makes the eyes pop and stand out.
A pretty bright blue eye shadow brightens up the face and adds color to any outfit.
This bold red lip was paired with almost nothing else. They used concealer to cover some small imperfections, but other than that, they used nothing else for this super simple look.
These bold brows no doubt stole the show. We love how the eyes are kept fairly simple with warm eye shadow colors.
These bold eyeliner colors sure did make us look twice. We love the way these colors pop out with no other makeup being needed.
Glitter eye shadow was another trend we spotted on the runways. Glitter can be seen as too flashy by some, but if you keep the rest of your makeup simple, you should have no problem rocking this awesome color.
